General Conditions

Art. 1 The Prize

The price of the room includes the overnight stay and breakfast.
he price for a meeting or an event is determined by quotation.

Art. 2 Reservation

All reservations must be made in writing or electronically.
To guarantee your reservation, we ask you to provide your or your company’s credit card number and the expiry date of this card prior to your visit.
A reservation is only accepted if it has been confirmed to you in writing or electronically, either by the hotel itself or by a booking site.

Art. 3 Damage

Damage caused by yourself or one of your guests to goods belonging to or near the hotel is at your expense.
The hotel is indemnified against any responsibility, both for its own damage and damage to third parties of any kind, with regard to vehicles in the hotel car park or garage.
The hotel is not responsible for your materials and products during a stay or participation in a meeting or event.

Art. 4 Reception

The reception is staffed every day from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The rooms are accessible (Check-in) from 2:00 p.m. until the closing time of the reception, and must be vacated on the day of departure by 11:00 a.m. at the latest.
If you want to check in outside the opening hours of the reception, you will find your Key-card (access badge) in our night safe (to the right of the entrance door). This can only be opened with the day code. Your name and room number will be written on the Key-card holder. With your Key-card you can open the front door and your room door.
At check-out, the costs must be paid on site.

Art. 5 Cancellation

Cancellations can only be made in writing or electronically.
Cancellation of a room can be done free of charge up to 24 hours before the planned stay.
For cancellations that reach us later, the price of the room/room rental is due. When booking multiple nights, 1 night will be charged, after which the booking will be cancelled for the following nights.

Art. 6. Smoking ban

There is a general smoking ban in the OTUS hotel.
If a violation of the smoking ban is detected, we risk a fine of up to €2,500. If we are fined during a check on the smoking ban, we will recover this from the offender.
The consequence for smoking in the hotel is that the costs incurred for cleaning, dry cleaning or washing the curtains and making the room smoke-free, including costs as a result of the alarm, will be recovered from the offender. These costs are at least 300€. These costs will be deducted directly from the warranty card.
Because you also endanger the safety of the other hotel guests, we are also forced to report it to the local authorities.

Art. 7 Problems/complaints

If you have any problems or complaints, you can contact Mrs. Christa Van de Slycke (Tel. 0032 494 501 701) or Mr. Alex De Swaef (Tel. 0032 494 501 702) 24 hours a day.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that:

That there is camera surveillance in the basement, on the ground floor and in the corridors.
That it is not allowed to bring pets, except for assistance dogs.
That it is not allowed to be present in the room with more people than stated on the reservation.
